I feel sick to my stomach just reading your story, and picturing some asshat doing that to a dog. I love dogs, and it is so disgusting when I hear about someone doing that. I'm glad you saved the dog's life, and hopefully get this guy a rap sheet going with the SFPD in case someone catches him pullin this bs in the future.

Dang i hope you feel better from the hit soon but i probably would have done the same thing. Cept i use a cane so i would have probably beat him with my cane lol. I wouldnt been able to see that and not do anything about it. Now he can go to jail hitting you and hurting an animal they have strict laws on hurting animals. Glad you and your pup made it out ok.. This is now what? second time you and your pup had altercations going on a walk?

I think you did the right thing, but like everyone and yourself is saying you are lucky he didn't have a weapon. There are definately crazy people out there and somebody that is beating their dog, probably wouldn't have a problem fighting someone else.
