That's also another thing, even if I use a large wrench the socket seems to slip off.. they're not stripped it just slips off outwards though and yes I'm using the right size socket,

Huh? You mean rounded? Dude if you've got the right socket size and your wrench is slipping off you damaged the bolt and are fk'd

Even if the bolt doesn't look damaged a lot of times it's just a small nick that is causing the wrench to always slip off which is why people have to be really careful when working on their cars to do everything in one try. You gotta remember, everytime your wrench slips off chances are you did a bit of damage to it. Consider this a lesson learned

You need to get a set of these http://www.sears.com/shc/s/p_10153_1...id=00952166000

Also, as good practice I replace my bolts with brand new ones everytime I take them out - cheap enough and not worth the headache of damaged/rusted bolts over time.

post up a pic of the bolt!

verc is right about damaging the bolt but sometimes if you get a new socket (stronger metal) itll come off
id reccomend getting a new bolt though for the re-install

id say use an impact but if the bolts stripped itll just go horribly lol

good luck =)

So my dad came to the rescue, I told him to bring an impact gun today, and that did the trick, it was able to get them off in a few seconds (:

I know one of the older mechanics in the family would figure it out...

Not Orlando though... He sleeps too much.
