I Hate Sprint, Yeah I Said It!
I need to complete this story but here are some highlights based on my experience:
SprintPCS provides bad coverage
SprintPCS appears to have an oversubscribed user base which leads to bad coverage
SprintPCS may have a policy that drops calls to provide room for new calls rather than providing new callers an "all circuits busy" message
SprintPCS chooses to hire few customer service reps so that you wait on hold for a long time
SprintPCS charges you for a full month when you terminate even if you terminate on the 3rd day of the month, like me
IF I SEE THIS GUY ON THE STREET IM KICKING IS ***!!!

I also posted a topic on how much I hated SprintPCS' service. I finally ended my 1 year contract and went with AT&T. AT&T has been very good so far. No dropped calls and no "No Service" notifications.

i've used AT&T, Sprint, and Cingular. Cingular is worse by FAR. I did like AT&T but now roll wit Sprint. i've never had any reception problems, and always get better reception than my friends with AT&T.

After January i started getting dropped calls. Then i stopped getting calls for hours at a time and when i would check my voice mail, i would have like10 messages. The worst is when i dont get the phone call, but i hear my voice mail ring. What the hell is going on? Sprint said they would have to send someone out to the tower to check on my phone, but do you really think that they are going to send a tech all the way out to some tower just to check on my phone?? hell no.

Sprint isn't great, but it's not so bad. I use them now and as long as I dont need anything, it works for me. Cingulair is absolutely horrid. That is who drove me to Sprint in the first place. But the king of all bad service has to be NEXTEL. Trust me. I manage my company's Nextel account and there is NOTHING worse.

j/k...
I've been using Verizon since I was back east and was called Bell Atlantic. Never had any coverage problems either in Boston or here in the Bay area. And coverage was pretty solid everywhere inbetween as well. Plus Verizon's spokes voice was Darth Vader!
