So last year I was in the market for a new cell phone, and I wanted nation wide long distance as one of my options. So I go with Sprint and a nice Samsung Filp phone. So for the first few weeks I am like, oh man this is great. Nice phone. Ever since then I have never been more UNHAPPY.

I can't use my phone inside my apartment. I have to go outside or near a window to make it work. It drops calls all the time. Sometimes it doesn't even ring and then alerts me I have a voice mail. W T F !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Now I live in a house at the top of a hill, and the phone still doesn't work. It is pretty embarrasing sitting there in freezing weather trying to carry on a conversation outside since my fuqing phone doesn't work inside the house. Sometimes I really feel like spiking this phone on the ground.

So everytime I see these Free And CLear commericials with this one jerk off with a trench coat, I want to go into the TV and beat this guy to death with my phone I pay $31.50 every month for. I don't get Free or Clear at all. I get a POS phone that doesn't even work when I want it to. Even my brick phone worked better than this service.

I only have one more month until the end of my contract. It can't come any sooner. I need a new service and cell phone. Any ideas?

yeah i had att before i had sprint and att was MUCH better. att just has gay *** phones but i guess you gotta live with it if you want good service. sprint is 2nd best service-wise BTW. what's most importatn is finding some one with an att phone and making sure it works inside your house before you sign up for the service.

jsut curious, which phone do you have? if its an old phone id prolly recommend you going to a sprint store and updating your software and prl. what that does is fixes any internal glitches on the phone and you can actually get better reception once the prl update is done cause it reads the new cell sites that were built... so for example when you bought your phone the software and prl is reading the current sites, as time goes by sprint is expanding there coverage so within that year or 2 there were prolly new sitees that were built to reach a stronger signal. another fyi sprint is going to be doing a lot of improvement as far as coverage next year and there opening up 250 stores/express stores.... i used to be a tech at sprint thats why i know this,
but now im at crappy cingular because they pay more and its not so corporate meaning layed back ...

nevz since your contract is up your eligable for an upgrade if your interested lemme know ...

My girlfriend has AT&T cellular, and it works fine in our house, but mine doesn't. Does AT&T have a larger area for free long distance now? My sprint phone has Nation Wide long distance. Just too bad it doesn't work all that well.

Thanks for the info. I never knew you could have your cell phone upgraded with new software and new prl(what's prl?) . I will try that and see if it works.

As I was writing that post above, I got a voice mail. And I couldn't even read it until this morning. I was soooo pissed off last night.
