I hate birds!

Ok so im driving on I-980 towards oakland and im going about 75-80mph and going straight. All of a sudden i see a bird diagonally left flying right towards me and then i slow down a little thinking it might just fly right across me. Then the bird disapears and i hear a loud bang, and my car loses controll and starts swerving in and out of the lane. luckly the car next to me sped up and drove away from me and everyone else was a good distance away from me. After awhile i finally gained control and continued driving and slowed down. I looked around my car when i finally stoped... but i didnt see any dents. I was confused. where did the birdie go?

It was wierd cause i didnt know why i started swerving cause i was going straight and it also felt like my brakes locked, but i thought i had anti-lock breaks.

Damn birds.

I heard a story once from a friend of mine where he hit a big enough bird that took out his right break because the bird was big and was flying low enough to clear the front of the subie and when the bird tried to lift up, it hit the right control arm and bent the crap out of it. I don't know how true it was, but I saw the control arm and it was bent to hell. luckly he had his insurance replace it and now he has an STI.

It's not a bird. Its a carrier pigeon. It's a cheap way to keep in touch with your friends.

Sure it wasn't a swallow carrying a coconut? And African swallow though.

Hee hee, I had a buddy splatter a rabbit on the front valence of his Bertone 780 Turbo on the drive up from LA. They were cleaning fur and blood off the front left axle area for days, and the foglamp and lower front air dam were shattered royally
