When will it be my turn to get rear ended? I need some quality work done on the back of my car.
Glad you're alright!

qft. woman drove across ACTIVE oncoming traffic (me and bunch of others) from the south side of the road to pull into ranch 99. I managed to slow the truck I was driving down just enough to not total her car. Glad that wasn't my subie.

Yeah - she was insured. I was nervous at first.
I had to wait for her son to show up to translate. She spoke NO English
The guy tried to do the whole: I'll just give you cash thing... NOPE. I ain't screwing around with these folks.
Got the insurance, already called in the claim

That sucks! But at least she had insurance. I've only ever been on the hitter side, not the hittie. When I first learned to drive I was in a 1982 Oldsmobile Delta 88 Coupe and didn't have enough clearence in a parking lot and scraped the bumper on a Mercury Mountaineer. Then I was backing out and this hella impatient lady was screaming down the isle not looking at me HALF WAY OUT OF MY STALL! But it was my fault cuz I was in reverse. And then I backed my Canyon 4x4 into the side quarter panel of a NSX. That one hurt me on the inside. I don't know how people can be so casual about hitting someone elses car. I always apologize profusly (sp?) when I've hit someone. I've even been hit on 101, they changed lanes into the side of my truck and thought we "met in the lane" the CHP looked at my truck and told me he'd take like five minutes and I could go, he detained them and gave them a ticket. Didn't speak hardly any english. Sounded european.
