'Knockout game' attack leads to hate crime charge
**** pisses me off to no end. I've been saying since day one with this stupid *** game. That if it was a group of white kids doing it it would be a hate crime. But it's black kids so it's just kids "playing a game" that's wrong.

I'm not saying it's not a hate crime. I agree with this being a hate crime 100%. But it's no more a hate crime than half of the other ones.
What he stated was he picked a black person for attention. He didn't say he picked a black person because he hated them. But it's still a hate crime because he used race as part of his selection process.
I guarantee you half of the other attacks if not 70% of them had race and/or sex as part of the selection process.... hate crimes.
My main point is that it took a white dude hitting a black dude for this to be a hate crime issue. It's been brought up in some of the other ones and charges were discussed in others but it hasn't been THE story... just a small part of it.
White dude... it's THE story.
That was my point 2 months ago and it's my point now.
It's only racist if it's coming from a white person. It's only sexist if it's coming from a man. It's homophobic if the hate is towards gays but it's not heterophobic when it's pointed the other way... that's why there's no word for it. Hate doesn't exist coming from the other side of the wall. Our society has place this little hate box on the straight white man that is only applied to the straight white man.
My book hate is hate.

Kind of like the insanity plea. What kind of sane person blows up a movie theatre? They were able to plan it and spend time thinking about it so they can't be that insane. Just ****ed up.
Dude out here that killed his mom and dumped her body by my old house... just dropped his insanity plea. Pleaded guilty to murder.
I can understand mentally disabled... as in not really being capable of stopping themselves or not understanding reality, right, wrong, consequence, etc. But to me... you kill people to make a point or because you want to or whatever. Yeah you're ****ed up in the head. Doesn't mean you should be part of society. Or allowed to go back in to society after you're medicated and cleared by a doctor.
You know.
It's tough.
My main point is that it took a white dude committing the same crime for it to get the attention AS A HATE CRIME. Called that 2 months ago because it's reality. A stupid one but a real one.
