So here's the deal... some of you know i ordered a single 60mm gauge pod from Jamie aka SUBIEGAL (a moderator from NASIOC) in late May or early June. Here's the URL of the Pod I ordered:

Granted i was still a n00b (and still am with some respect) when i purchased this part from Jamie and didn't know that so many people disliked her or had bad experience with her (i'm not going to mention any names but you know who you are )

So... i requested a status on my order after about 3 weeks asking if i'd expect it soon. I wasn't pushy at all, just a concerned customer. The first excuse card she pulled was the "the part's on a boat from the UK". I then asked for a status on the average of once a week after the first email i sent to her.

Here's the list of SOME of the excuses i got trust me there's more! these one took the cake though:

1) it's still on the boat from the UK
2) i lost the phone number of the manufacturer
3) My computer was down and i didn't get your email
4) The people that took your order got laid off so i lost your order
5) My computer was down
6) the people from the UK said it would be here in week (still nothing)
7) the list goes on and on........

And i've sent her 2 additional emails this past week with NO response.

Here's the email i sent today:

Jamie, what's the status/excuse now? I'm going to have to ask you for my money back because this is ridiculous! It's been months since i ordered this part from you and all i get are bull**** answers on why you don't have it. you told me people that work for/under you got fired, you told me your computer was down etc etc etc... the list goes on and i've been extremely patient and understanding.
I also emailed you this past week twice on my NEW ADDRESS and got no response! Hell, I've even moved into a new house since my order with you! If i don't get an answer to THIS email by THIS afternoon I'll post your name all over BAIC in I-Club (the one place you can't erase it from). I'm giving you fair warning. Post a reply ASAP or your going into the "bad-vendor" thread.

I WANT MY MONEY BACK ASAFP OR WE'LL SETTLE THIS IN ANOTHER MANNER!!!!!!

no reply.

i'm refunding everyone today...

I feel your pain, but I've had a ton of good experiences with Jamie. I order the majority of my parts through her as the prices are always good and they're closer to the Bay than Subaruparts.com. I'm sorry you had such an unpleasant experience with her. It's unfortunate that it had to come to this, but I've had ****ty experiences with vendors before and I've been super pissed off too. Good luck in getting your gauge pod!

Well, that doesn't seem fair. You stated what your experiences were in what I deem to be a factual and calm manner (well, maybe a little heated). Durn it, a lot of us are members of both boards and it would be nice to be able to co-exist.

"Members" can and do. Certain NASIOC honchos cannot.

 

I lurk here *alot* more than I post, but um... the door swings both ways you know . There are as many I-Club.com mods who are as much to blame as Nasioc.com mods. I think we all realize the split was pretty stupid and both parties had faults in it, but posting things such as the above certainly won't make the problem abate and shows you are as much a part of the problem as anyone else. I'm not here to defend Jamie, as I personally am not happy with how things have turned thus far, nor am I here to defend Sisqocqk, because he is probably not utterly faultless either- I'm just here to make my point .
