This is the 3rd posts you've followed me on, I believe you have an emotional connection that I do not want to engage, please leave me alone. You are becoming an obsessive creep.

What you think people didn't know until you started posting the bs leo crap? The only part your doing is making people aware that you like to fail.

So do something about it. I've gone through times of my life where I thought that the solution to corruption was just showing examples of it, like in pictures or video, but realized it didn't help the cause of actively preventing corruption because everyone you show the evidence to, they already know exists and that video or picture is not enough to motivate regular people to act on anything. I also did not gain any credibility because of the manner in which i presented the examples of corruption. I learned that no one will take you seriously if you don't have a well-reasoned argument, which includes both sides of the debate. Tell people to skip these posts and that you're sick of hearing their responses is not the path to a constructive argument. Don't be so pissed off, and we might take you seriously.

you missed my point. posting these video's isnt "doing something about it". thats what i mean. posting video's is all talk. it doesn't work because everyone already knows these exist. for this cause of yours copy-pasting is not enough.

Well I'm trying to help ease their emotions, I do understand that some people get heated; I know I will always get some criticism. Posting for the common good will always take some heat from people who just don't like the posts. I believe I'm doing society a favor and I'm sorry if it makes a profession look bad. I'm never pissed off, I'm just trying to help the pissed off people move along instead of calling me some LEO hater. You can claim that I am an LEO hater, but I guarantee them if they read any of my posts, I dislike the action these officers took, more than just the title of LEOs period. The ones that I do post really seem like they are crossing the line, which is why I post them.

I praise the guys that do their duty and honor their flag, and I know that it is extremely rough doing the "right thing" and yet getting ridiculed when they're giving out tickets or making arrest.

In any case, I absolutely agree with you, you make very constructive posts with reasonable argument, and that (for many people) at least on here is a difficult thing to do.

Totally, I'm right there with you on this one. And I commend your effort for getting the word out. I understand that you don't blame all LEO's, but some people on here think you do hate ALL LEO's for some reason, but why? Well, I think the reason is the manner in which you are posting these threads. It just comes off like you are pissed off, even though I know you're not. But in text, it really does seem that way - the responses show that. So, if you want to get through to us, I would change the way you are posting these threads because saying,

is not how to present a well-reasoned argument. The above joking comment is the epitome of being sarcastic and degrading toward a certain group, which can make it look like you are pissed off. Prudence and logic would have had you cite a law or code that that cop is breaking, and invite conjecture as to what he should have done, or what we can do about it as citizens.

Think before you post, and try not to step on anyone's toes, because you can see how this can get heated, especially in the tone you are presenting it in.

Yea, with that introduction I guess I can see why people would be mad. I do it with many of my posts though, like the "Great Performance by Bret Michaels!" Cuz it's just plain funny. I found it intriguing with this LEO post, along with many others, but I guess me finding it funny to other people is offensive. That is just my opinion vs their opinion.

I still don't think I should change myself nor should anyone change themselves. Opinions are opinions, if I post one and have a different view than another person, then that obviously starts an argument. I know that these types of videos to me at least seems lopsided, but I guess to others they have to express the other side. That is why these discussions are discussions and forums to express yourself.

Everyone will never 100% agree with another person. It could be about MODding your car, to preference in women, to what's funny and not funny. I still take it into account that what I am posting is real life reality, so indeed I think it is still necessary to keep people up to date, and unfortunately for some, I'll still be posting them.

I'll do my part though, and I'll try to keep the comments to the minimum so I'll try not to offend others in the process (in the end, posting the vid will just end up offending people in general, can't make 'em all happy). Although I think it'd be less entertaining, but nontheless I'll reach across the board and tone it down.

I-club turning into Nasioc? Censorship 101. And THAT's something that I will not back down to.

Furthermore, there are different levels/commitments to being proactive. I would love to save the world, but I have my own career to make, bills to pay, etc so I do as much as I can to support the spread of controversial information so people stay awake in this country. Just because I am not sitting in front of the police station with a tie die t-shirt and a picket sign does not mean that you are not making a difference in the world.

iLogin Thanks for the POST!!!! Don't listen to these morons, keep posting these things, maybe after the 15,000th cop abuse story maybe, just maybe you can turn of these cop lovers into a rational person.
"what do I say to a dead cops wife, Cops kill more people everyday, and that's life."
Its the culture inherent in Police station that create these criminals.

You are absolutely right. They make as much of a difference as posting videos up on the internet - none.

It's not about censorship. I'm speaking more in terms of effectiveness. I'm trying to help you guys, because just posting videos up on i-club is obviously not helping your cause. WHY? because it's been done ad nauseum. We get it. It exists. Showing more videos isn't going to get someone who already agrees with you (because we do agree with you) to actually be proactive, while you guys sit at home copy pasting.

So, if the primary objective is "to support the spread of controversial information so people stay awake in this country", and at the same time, people are responding to these threads the same way every time, why would one tell people to avoid it? Also, what does that say about the manner in which these posts are being presented?

If you have time to post videos and argue with people about corrupt cops on i-club, and you feel that spreading this information is just as important (if not more), then you do have time to be proactive and do things to help this cause. Everyone has a career and families, but somehow people manage to contribute to society instead of constantly complain about it on the internet.

Who said anything about cop lovers.

I agree with iLoqin: some cops are bad and some are good. and he never said he hated all cops.

....and they say they're not spreading hate

this is a bit more philosophical, but i remember a Jon Stewart bit he did once where he said "there will never be a moderate revolution in America because real people have **** to do. Townspeople don't grab torches and pitchforks and tell Frankenstein, 'Be reasonable!'"

Everyone's got their opinions and everyone always will.

The point is, it's not what you say; it's how people perceive what you say
