I know this shouldnt be here but its been really bugging me. So all of my friends are into euro, seriously I mean all of them with the exception of 2 me, and my other friend with a jeep. It goes 91 E30, 87 190e 2.3 16valve, 99 c230, 99 e46 325, and a 01 E46 M, then my car. So I get made fun of all the time. I keep hearing "rice rocket, *** crap, everyone has a Subaru now there the new civics". It never bothers me but sometimes it just gets annyoing. I mean I dont really care that people have Subarus, just makes the community bigger. But what does bother me is that Im supper indisicive and I catch myself wanting a euro so bad. It wont happen because of a bunch of reasons. My car has only 30k on it, its paid off, it has 4 doors, AWD, a turbo I mean Subarus are great cars and the biggest reason my dad just died. And Im not going to be like hey "mom can I sell my car and get a really fast BMW" You know maybe the fact is that theres cars out there that are alot faster and unique, but I mean come on thats just something I cant stop. The intrestign thing though is that E46 M's are droppin in price there like 32 now and when the E90 comes out I may look for a 03 M, but I would be so sad to see my car go. I know I seem like a totall ***** and a whiney ***** but I just had to vent some how.

i also agree that the WRX is becoming the new Civic because people are seeing the potential of them.

 

x2; i hear it all the time, but they're just doing it all in good fun. i actually get a lot of respect in the club i'm in (watercooled militia...a VW crew), but i think it helps that i have a 91 jetta gli 16v. anyways, i'm sure it's all in good fun....

 

Euro r nice cars, but think of the repair bills ...... I will stick with JDM ..... until I get hella rich or sth ... coz I can afford the an Euro but can't afford to keep it running. ~

 

Get an E30 beater, nothing expensive, $3000 car plus $3000 mods will be super fun.

I had(have) a Miata before my 2.5 RS and i miss it so bad, pure sports car (haha), no bull**** in between you and the road.

A car is a car. My 2 buddies have E36 M3 while the other douche I know has a Z. It doesn't matter if it's Euro, JDM, USDM, Chinese ...whatever. If it's a good car, it's a good car. The WRX is a great car, but so are BMW's. If you want luxury with a bit of sports mixed into it, go Euro, if you want reliability, practibility, and sporty, WRX is the way to go. How much faster are you than them? How are they in the snow? in the rain? come on , a 99 C230 pos mercedes is nothing for them to be bragging about. And a E46 325 is a luxury sedan for older people.

There's a reason why everyone's getting a Subaru. They make great cars.

The E30s and E36s are great, but it's not like you made a bad decision picking your car either.
