I dare you to find something more bad *** than this:

C-RAM in action, watch both vids, you simply CANNOT find anything more bad ***. It will shoot any kind of incoming projectile by covering the sky with 4,200 rounds per min. At one point in the night time video every 3rd round is a tracer, so you're only seeing 1/3 of it!!!!!

Now watch the BEST video of all. All the rounds are 20mm high explosive rounds at 4200rpm!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!! In the second vid you can hear 5 C-RAMs firing at once. Notice the sound delay, cool eh?

Dare you to find something more bad ***.

nice videos. It reminds me of the counter battery when I was at Fallujah, except we used 155mm Howitzers.

What's more bad *** is being only 25 ft away from one during a gun shoot. A little info about it, it uses the M61A1 "Vulcan" gun at it's heart. Rounds are actually 20mm subcaliber and fragmenting to prevent large penetrators from falling to the earth. C-RAM is actually the same system as the Navy's CIWS just a couple modifications and uses Navy techs to maintain.

I have gathered a lot of useless facts on these thanks to spending the last 5 years working on these. And yet even better is SeaRam...just replace gun with RAM missiles. LCS 2 is supposed to have recieved one, but I haven't been to San Diego recently to see it.

Check out this A-10 warthog unload for a demo: I love the impact sound you hear after. You can actually see the bullets fly by on the left right after you hear it.

Yeah, I thought I recognized it. Saw a live fire demonstration while stationed aboard USS Saipan (LHA-2), and the word impressive is an understatement.

I'd love to see the US Navy use these for target practice near Somalia, and demonstrate to the pirates what happens to them and their "mother ships".
