just out of curiosity, were you going uphill, downhill, or flatland? I lived on a mountain before college, and I would always scream uphill in the rain, but be really REALLY cautious coming down. Even driving the speed limit downhill on rainy twisties can screw ya.

and leafs are the best! my onramp to the freeway is covered with leafs this time of year and i love hitting that corner as i jump on the freeway for work haha

What's with the class of 2003 from James Logan High crashing on calaveras rd?

I once let a turbo FD by on calaveras (like 5 years ago), and then thought I could catch him. He disappeared in the fog, and I was nearly flying off the cliff more times than i can count (i was a dumb *** back then, and didn't know anything about driving). I learned that:

at the time I sucked at driving
and
driving in the fog on calaveras could mean death, rather easily.
