Wink I-Club Job Seeker

Hey Guys,

I'm out lookin' for work. My current contract will be up in a couple of months and I need to start lookin' for something new. My startup company isn't making enough money to support me yet.

I'm a senior level software engineer focused on Microsoft and .Net development, and I own a black WRX. I got the job, right?

Here's the resume:
http://www.winfessor.com/ResumeView/...&xslt=standard

I'm not stuck on Software Engineering. Challenge me.

Like another unemployed subie own said, "the job market is like a snail on valium"

I would say polish up your business plan and look for a SBA loan. Focus on your business... that is what I am doing.

BTW:

who is your .NET web host? I need to find one.

I've got 'till the end of March to figure out what I'm going to do. But, yeah, you're probably right. We've actually got the business plan all ready to seek money but wanted to see if it would take off on its own with a little out of pocket cash for marketing.

We use MaximumASP (www.maximumasp.com) for .Net hosting. They're a bit pricey but the service/support is awesome and you get a lot of features. The only thing that bugs me is you can't create more than one application on your IIS webserver -- that means you have to have take care when developing to make sure the site will fit into the model where the web root is always the application root.

hehh.... An online parts vendor. Depending on the financing I can get I am going to sell parts and accessories for the WRX, EVO, etc... The goal is to be a parts dealer for anything that is equiped with a 2.0 turbo, AWD...

I have been keeping quite about it because there is no point in generating hype if I can't buy the inventory.

You could always join the service. Then you won't have to deal with the woes of the unemployment line!

Service to country is a civic duty that all males should undertake. IMHO.
