Yeah, I find the FB groups to be full of lazy and moronic idiots who are simply attention who***. They post in one group, then within minutes, the same post appears in another group, or perhaps 4 or 5 of them. I need pics of my car, in my exact custom color, with these (insert either unicorn wheels or wheels every third owner has)...and post it on every board that will have them as a member.

nothing new, i think FB killed every car forum...its becoming more of a one stop shop...people use forums mostly for learning, trade/sell/buy and bs but since FB can do all of that why go through the trouble of having multiple sites, log in, etc...

i lurk in here every now and then...i think this whole site has been kind of a ghost town..i dont see any new threads in any of the other sub sections...

i think nasioc is probably the only real active subie forum...not sure about how clubwrx, iwsti and them are doing since im not on there...

...because god forbids one has to spend ANY effort researching and log into a subject matter specific source, doing basic FAQ reading and asking an educated intellectual equation that has not been address 11ntybillion times?!

...and because FB is such an awesome well organized and managed repository of accurate historical information that any individual can easily search and reference at any given moment?!

So, yes, I do agree that FB killed car forums, but probably not for the reasons you are thinking
