Depends on your budget.

To get you started try a free mod:
Snorkus delete

Run a search for it. It's realatively simple to do.

But you need to give more idea of what you are looking to do with/to the car and what your budget is.

Congrats on the car, welcome to i-club and have fun.

Stole this from an older post: credit to Yungjin

When you look at your black plastic air scoop in front... it leads to a hole in the fender...
And 2-3 inches away it comes back out and and attaches to the air filter box.

Now that you know where it is, just jack up your car on the front passenger side.
Get under your car, and remove those plastic holders, and bend back the inner plastic to reveal the snorkus.
It's a big black squarish plastic container really. To remove it---You gotta unscrew one bolt underneath, and one bolt thats located exactly between the two holes in the engine bay.

If you got a stock turbo you'll now here the turbo spool up with a wavy suction sound.
If you upgrade your turbo to vf-39 or up, youll hear a whine during spool up.

Oh yeah, for future reference, if you got any questions use a search here on i-club, or www.scoobymods.com. You'll find tons of faq's, how to guides, and other great information stored on all these great sites.

5k to spend and the car is currently 100% stock?

10 seconds may be rough on only 5k....stuff like suspension, clutch, better tires and supporting mods will eat a large portion of the 5k, and even though don't contribute to the power required to get the car closer to the 10second barrier....are required inorder to make that goal a reality.

Wherever you are located, you should talk to some tuning shops and see if they can set you on the path to your goals. Not usre how much you know about these cars, but 5k can get eaten up quicker than you would hope.

Breaking the 10sec barrier w/ 5k is not realistic.

I would start by talking to some of the tuners in the bay area.
