Hmmmm....salvage title and only mod being a BOV.
I would pass.
Plus, unless you are paying straight up cash, not many financial institutions will do a car loan on a salvage title (not sure about insurance).

Seller list only the interior was stolen and the wheels.....he stated that the body panels are all original...but makes me wonder why would a theif just steal the interior and leave the engine alone??

If he did the interior restoration after the theft recovery, ask for records/receipts. Also carfax check it of course....even though a theft recovery may not show up on the report depending on the jurisdiction (i.e. some PD's are lazy...cough SFPD cough).
