Just heard a little news teaser saying that I-5 South in Merced county would be closed for the weekend due to an accident/spill. They didn't say from where to where.

Just thought I'd give a heads-up.

haha, my friend called me asking me to go there and shoot him.
he left santa rosa around 1pm and was into i-5 by about a mile. around 630pm...
i couldnt help but laugh at him.

 

yeah, it sucks when the 5 closes, I got stuck in some residual traffic once after it closed for most of the day when a big rig flipped over and went up in flames

 

that site almost seems fake with the typos in the story

 

This sucked something major. I was on the way down to So Cal for a wedding I was in... I5 was a parking lot. Took two extra hours to get there and I missed the wedding rehursal, but arrived, and thankfully, just in time for the alkeyhollllll

 

is the I-5 still closed or still have major delays?
