Also, the wheels I haven't been released yet. The two shops are currently taking pre-orders. I am sure that once the wheels are released mor eplaces will have them and I will probably be able to get them somewhere closer or shipped at a cheaper rate.

$340 shipping charge from SoCal to Norcal is ridiculous! I say wait for other places to have them in stock, its usually cheaper anyways if they have it in stock.

These would be part of my tax return. So I gotta wait for that and the wheels I want are only available for pre-order right now. The site says they will be available January 2011 but considering it is the 24th, I dunno how spot on that date is.
Jeszie, I may take you up on your offer. But a trip to Magic Mountain is starting to sound really good.

So far, there are only two shops that these listed and both of them are located in the same area. Shop #1 has pricing and stuff available. Shop #2 I had to request a quote and they haven't gotten back to me yet.

simi valley won't be too bad so i don't really see any real traffic getting in and out of there, even on a weekday
i went up to norcal and back down here maybe 7 times the past 13 months and i think it would be good to bring extra cash for gas as a cushion.. your car may have better mileage than mine but better safe than sorry
one other suggestion i can give is if you were to do it in a day, be sure to get a good amount of sleep beforehand.. you do NOT want to be sleepy.. i went up and down to sj and it was kind of killer but doable

I liked the 527, but I need wheels now and they told me i'd have to wait for the fitment I wanted.

Now you don't need to find one rota wheel.

I am so down! You have no idea.
I have been drooling over the 526's for the past 6 months. I can't remember how I came across them though.
I looked at the 527's and I think they look pretty nice with all the concave action, I just want some lip! The 527 also has weird widths, they are all either x.25 or x.75. It's like they are making them to stretch tires (or be really meaty).
And I still want that last Rota to complete the set. They will still do wonders as a very nice winter or road trip set.
