Here are some interesting stats I pulled up for a different post, but I'll cross post them here.
To hold out hope for the Giants, Halladay's number against the Giants (lifetime) aren't that good. 3 starts against them (2 as a Blue Jay years ago, 1 as a Phillie this year) and he's 0-2 with 5 ER in each appearance. Small sample size but the Giants have been a pain to him for some reason.
Oswalt has faced the Giants 4 times this year. His 3 starts with Houston vs. the Giants were all losses (He faced Lincecum all 3 times). His one start as a Phillie against the Giants was a win, though it was against Zito, who probably won't be starting in the NLCS anyway.
Hammels is 2-2 (team is 4-2) in 6 starts against the Giants in the past 3 years, and he's pitching more like 2008 Hammels (which was 2 Philadelphia wins).
On the other hand...
Lincecum is 2-1 (team was 2-3) in 5 starts in the past 3 years against the Phillies. Sanchez is 3-1 (team was 4-1) in 5 starts against Philadelphia in the past 3 years. Cain is 0-1 (team was 1-1) in 2 starts against Philadelphia in the past 3 years. Bumgarner hasn't faced the Phillies yet.
