I MIGHT be able to to fit these w/o rolling. The pic is 9.5" and mine are 9"'s. I had them sent with a set or rear camber bolts. So with my KW Variant 3' that were moded by GST to make even more neg camber and the camber bolts and stretching my tires I should be able to fit these.

If not guess who is ordering the fender roller finally.

X2 minus the wedding, I'm beat. Coming off my meds has beat me down for a minute.

oh and broke my car. Maybe a dirty MAF as it was OIL SOAKED. Running Maximal really pushes the oil by. I need an air/oil separator like yesterday. And here I bought wheels, (slaps forehead) DOH! Anyways I cleaned it with non chlorinated brake cleaner and I will go try it once I can get some sleep. I was getting misfire on cyl 1 and 3. Oil was all over like coming out my BOV all over the hood and passenger wheel well. I was rallying for a few days out @ Samoa, by the way you guys got to come see the track I made out there. SIACK except one speed bump on the tarmac section. Other than that it's way too fun.

 

Damn, I feel lucky. I just spent 2 weeks working 16 hours days busting *** and I feel great Muyst be all that running and working out we do pre-season.

A few things on MAFs

- use electronic contact cleaner. Brake cleaner will work, but it is pretty corrosive.

- If you are getting that much blowby after the intercooler, you should definately get an air oil seperator. I would also take the intercooler off, cap the ends, and clean it out with some gas.

In the meantime, use some of that foam I gave you. I have NO oil after my catch cans since I started using it. As you can see with my clear catch can lines, there is plenty in there before them.

This is another place where I am glad that I have those clear lines for the crank case and PCV lines. It helps me rule out turbo bearing failure...definately a reason to go with ball bearing turbos tho

As for the track, it sounds sick. I will have to check it out...in 2 more weeks lol. Catch ya guys then.

Well cleaned the MAF and reinstalled. Car ran much smoother but still not %100. I was able to reset the ECU and let it relearn and was able to drive 3 miles b4 throwing codes. Yesterday I was throwing;
P0304
P0303
P0301
PFFFF
PFFFE

Now I am only misfiring on cyl 1
So todays codes are;
P0301
PFFFF
PFFFE

I have reset the ECU three times now and it seems to be getting better each time. I still think my MAF o-ring is shot and not sealing. If I keep throwing P0301 I will pull the coil pack and plug and start to investigate further.

ok still throwing P0301, will try one more time then I am pulling that pack and plug and also I will check my Throttle Body and sensor for oil saturation.

MAF o ring is almost broken in one spot and is totally stretched out. I think I am getting a air leak there now. I wonder if I can just use liquid gasket instead of the o-ring. Hmm on second thought probably not. Time to go pull plug one which I think is the passenger front IIRC.

 

Car is fixed

Cleaned the throttle body out (super gummed) also took out the MAF cleaned it one more time and made sure the gasket sealed this time. Also pulled the coil pack and plug. The coil connection had oil all in it so I cleaned it out. It was getting oil all over it. The plug looked great and was dark gray like it is supposed to be. Comp was also great on cylinder 1. Car runs better than ever. BOV is way louder, I must have had an intake leak I fixed. I am very happy that I know so much about this motor by building it. I know how to trouble shoot and where to look, makes it so nice.

Just put in my Eibach rear camber bolts. Went in nice and simple. Had to call SD real quick to check on one thing and as always they are all super helpful over there. Wheels go on in about 3hrs!
