:hugs: for clearing that up. I received this PM "You have received a warning at i-Club" so I am sure you can see how I was confused.
Well guys I know you all have excuses about why you can't make the races tonight or tomorrow but I will be out there reppin with my 5 gallons on Maximal. Time to go prep the car! I am stinking I can get into the 11's. 12's w/o launching hard I would assume. Hope they actually time tonight, who knows because it is the Police running it again. Tomorrow is timed for sure!

12.8 with easy launch. Car has way more in it, darn AVCR needs to be tricked for drag racing to get enough boost. Because you are banging gears so quick and really only going between 5-7k in the rpm range you need to tell the boost controller that it needs way more boost than target, this way it can build enough boost in that short of time in each gear. On my best run I still only got 1.4 bar in 1st-3rd and 1.5 in 4th and 1.6 in 5th where I should see 1.8 in each ear. Hopefully someone is selling some Maximal @ the races tomorrow as 1/4 tank isn't enough to keep the fuel pump wet at these G forces

Meh, it is for a long time friend's birthday party that slipped my mind over the last week
Trust me man, I am bummed too.
I still suggest a good pressure test of your intake tract. You would be surprised how many leaks spring up as low as 8-10 psi. Clamp positioning is easily as important as how tight you get them. If there were a leak, it would makes sense that you were hitting lower boost in lower gears since there is less load, and less time to build boost.
Just make sure you unplug all of the breather lines coming off the inlet...otherwise you will pressurize the crank case and risk blowing out some oil seals. The intake system is designed to take pressure, the crank case is not.
Completely removing that old boost solenoid (the unplugged one) wouldn't hurt either, since it is connected to your inlet, and may be bleeding off boost if it is a normally open type solenoid. That is something I will have to look into.
Does Mike have any suggestions as to why your boost is not hitting in lower gears?

J/K he said to up the boost/duty in small amounts until it hits target boost, it makes sense with what it is doing since first gear is the only one to see he full rmp range and 2-5th only see about 4.5k-7k. I feel dumb answering you on here when you are sitting on my couch eating lunch, but you asked

Well went back and ran a 12.750 and a 12.6 for my 2nd and 3rd run today. Was getting close to target but still only did 1.6 in 2nd and 3rd and 1.7bar in 4th and 5th where I still need to get it up to 1.8-.9 in all gears. Way better than the 1.3-1.4 bar to maybe 1.5 bar last night. I will scan the slips but you (Adam) and Cody already watched the runs/saw the slips. What a fun day. I am def not the fastest but very happy with my progress and times. I think with practice and dial in I can see a 12.flat @ Samoa (which we all know is a SLOW track).
