got ICS 4.0.3 running on the TP last night

 

How does it run? Does Netflix run okay? Have they figured out how to get hardware video encoding working yet? I have Gingerbread on my wife's TP, and it runs okay. Mostly only use it for basic browsing and Netflix streaming now.

 

Its good so far. Its gunna take some getting used to.. its totally different than previous builds.
Netfilx works
Pandora works
Google music works
Google docs works

 

I'm assuming when you're saying previous builds, you mean Gingerbread/CM7? I have a Galaxy Nexus, and ICS is the the only Android version I know. So I think switching to ICS/CM9 should be relatively painless.

 

oh well if you started with Android on 4.0 then yes, the TP version should be simple for you

4.0 is much different than anything before it.

I thought you said you had GB running on your TP tho?

 

I flashed Gingerbread on the TP about a month ago, but I hardly use it. My wife uses it for basic browsing and sometimes Netflix. I had an iPad 2, but I sold it over xmas and hopefully getting the iPad 3/HD when it comes out tomorrow.

Good to know. Maybe the TP with ICS will be much easier to use than Gingerbread.
