How good are these tablets? It seems like a lot of hype because of the price, but are they worth it?

I had ZERO desire to pick up any make/model tablet. But for this price....**** dont get coffee or fast food for a few weeks and its paid for

No idea. He still has it. Won't tell me what he's doing to it but I trust him. He said something about IOS5 but im not sure that's even in the rhelm of being possible nor would I want it, but if anyone could do it it's him. I gave him a deadline of a week because if I don't he will continue to **** with it and I'll never get it back.

That'd be so awesome, then you you can sign up with a credit card to use it and pay more money to apple, sweeeeet!

I would cancel that plan even if it was somehow possible, which I doubt. And if it does work you can bet it probably isn't totally functional or efficient for watching movies etc. My brothers friends who are pretty legitimate geeks said once I get one just to load the preware/overclock it to 1.5, already watched the video a few times. I got to play with one, I was really impressed. I've used my bro's ipad heavily, and tested software for a couple at my old work. No doubt the ipad has better build quality, feels nicer and has a slightly better looking screen, but I almost crapped my pants when I used the 99 dollar touchpad. At this point I got a lot more upset I was missing out...grrrr but I have faith.

 

Mine is sitting on my touchstone charger, next to by bed... hardly being used... awaiting Andriod greatness.

My nook color, on the other hand, running CM7, is next to my arm, and i use that thing all the damn time.

 

Not exactly true. My friend does IT security for a major financial institution. He has several degrees that are computer related. His skills are not always used for good. I'm sure he wouldnt do it unless it was running cydia and installous

 

Why do you think I gave him a week? He would just continue to **** with it. He just wants to see if it can be done. When you work from home most of the time and you write a program that makes it look like your working you have a lot of free time on your hands.
