How are WRX sales as of 08?
I've seen 3 STIs (all in dark grey) and 3 or 4 WRXs, all 5-door wagons. I've like the 2 I've seen in black, talked to one owner, seemed very happy with it. Test drove one too, I enjoyed it though a little big and bouncy, hardly feels as sportified as the previous WRXs...
I guess we're half-way away from the usual 2-year Impreza facelift...

I have seen more sti's than wrx's, only 2 have been here at the shop for some basic mods. I am on the fence about it as well, dont know if I should buy the new one or a good old 06.
i wouldn't give up my 06 for an 08 thats for damnnnnn sure. FIA find a low mileage 05/06/07......**** I saw an 05 recently w/ 5600 on it. Same mileage is my 06......anyways they are there.........I suggest you pick up an 06 and keep miles low and hold onto it before its too late..........

Its always a roll of the dice when a company updates its "bread & butter" when the previous version was so well received. My previous to WRX vehicle was an 04 Ford Focus SVT. When the 'new & improved' 2008 Ford Focus was revealed, the online Focus community collectively threw up in their own mouths. The new body was 'homely' at best, and the beloved hatchback model was eliminated.
When I initially saw the '08 WRX sedan I thought "Corolla on steriods" for the sedan and "*******it when will the americanized JDM crap stop!" when I saw the backside of the hatch 08 WRX. The STi starts to get it right buy hulking up the haunches.

seen several imprezas. .maybe 1 WRX. .no STIs except the one in the showroom at Steven's Creek. . .I think I'd rather get the 08 Forester XT or a Tribeca, LOL . those WRXs are so damn ugly. . why not just get a freaking Mazda Speed 3 if you want a hatchback. .

i think the forester is a nicer looking car than the new wrx/sti for sure. i love the sunroof. anyhow, we can talk about it all we can, it is what it is, and there is nothing we can do about it at this point unless subaru corp is reading this thread. then we can tell them WTF were you thinking? of course i can say the same thing to all the engineers the designed our stupid freeways like how 580 merges into 680 south. or how 580 merges into 238, or even how the 880 going onto 92 west.
oh well, forget about it.

STi is selling fine... Haha yeah, hmm... Wonder why any Suby dealer I pass by has more STi's on the lot than I have seen on the road total... I have seen 2 now, and SCS alone had like 5 of them last time I drove by (even a red/gold one).

exactly the 580/650 merge is freakin dangerous. i hate it. i take hacienda over to stoneridge drive and catch 680 from there.
anyhow, i am glad i got my 07 wrx before things changed. i love the body style.
