if you know your size then anywhere that sells a snell helmet. If you don't know your helmet size, then go to autox, and try on their helmets. Also for my first track day at laguna seca, which is like 10 minutes away from where i live, i just brought my portable toolbox, jackstands, and a jack just incase.

If you don't ride, a simple dot helmet will do... Especially if all you do is use it for track days... Cycle gear has some good deals on DOT approved helmets starting at just $50, they also got some snell approved helmets around $200 but like I said, unless you also plan on riding a motorcycle, you don't need anything fancy... Plus the helmets that t-hill rents out for $20-30 are the cheap $50 helmets at cycle gear... lol

OP, you have enough prep. Assuming your car is in good shape/maintenance, you're ready to go. karting/autox/etc aren't going to help much on your first time out. Do it for fun, but on your first track day (or any track day you're driving your daily driver) you can't drive on the limit. You can only drive on YOUR limit.
Right now, your brain has not yet developed the sensitivity to what you need, so you need seat time. If you've done some kart/autox, that's good. But it's not going to "prep" you for a track day.
Make the most of your day by preparing (as you seem to be) and then enjoy the day. Between sessions, the track day coordinators will probably work with the green group to reflect on your last session. Listen to your instructors and think about what you are LEARNING, and what you should be paying attention to when you go back out. When it's all done, reflect on what just happened and what you learned. Congrats, you will build and grow your driver self.

then taking some water and my helmet, small tool set, and gloves. Thats it as far as I know
