Question How to swap tension bars?

I was wondering how to swap tension bars from a sti trunk into a wrx trunk. I have swapped trunks before but never tension bars. Is their a diy on it?

yeah u can do it yourself... when i did mine, i was not a happy camper, lots of cussing without tools, but it can be done 15min or so depending on how fast you work

use your

i dont know how to explain it, but using the zig zag bar that jacks up your car works. makes the job very easy. ok this post is probably 100% useless without instruction or pics. sorry. but mess around with it. use it like a crow bar......???

yeah, I used the bar from my car jack to pop them out (the STi ones) the WRX ones can probably be done by hand. Simple put, they pop right out, just make sure you take them out when theres no trunk on the car, or make sure someones holding the trunk
