How to remove a person from registration?

My current vehicle has my name and my mom's name on it. We want to take one name off the registration. What do I have to do? I know, go into DMV and get a number. I am just wondering if there is anything I could do through mail, or fillout the form ahead of time then make an appointment. Or anything to avoid the run around. Yes, I am trying to find answer from dmv website as well. Thanks!

yea, dmv website should be your biggest help. otherwise you can go in, stand in the short line to ask the lady/man behind the counter what forms you need, get them and fill them out, then make the appointment.

Okay, I got the info. Boy I am surprised how fast DMV answered the phone. I went to the site and got the number and made a phone call. BAM! I got what I needed.

FYI,
Everything you need to is on the title. Just fillout the form and make an appointment/walking to DMV. Pay $15 and they'll mail a new title to you within 30 days!

Thanks for your help wrexxy
