I normally use google's player, but it doesn't support vista... So all I get is sound.

Any other alternatives? Help a brother out

best players are Gomplayer and KMPlayer, once you use it, you'll never use anything else to play your movies.

all shortcuts on keyboard, can adjust subtitle sync, sound sync, brightness, darkness, etc etc, awesomep layers. and very, very fast.

1. http://hellninjacommando.com/defilerpak/
2. playback using Windows Media Player

its not that the file is an "AVI" its that it was encoded with either divx or xvid.
