Agree with you 100%, but anti-gun people just can't see the logic behind it, it's like they dont WANT to believe in that sort of logic... Its so bizarre, try arguing with an anti gun person... Most of them are very uneducated on the subject... its like how we're afraid of what we don't know, these people are afraid of guns and so they want to hate them regardless of how much logic we pump into them

So why not make it easier for people to carry concealed weapons permits? At least that gives us, the good people of America, a chance to fire back. In this case, maybe there would have been less lives lost.
google calif bill AB 357.

i agree that gun laws are lame and yes i own a gun but lets fliping the coin for a sec.

remember the oakland train incident?

now imagine if some of those train passengers (that saw the cop shoot the guy on the ground) had a gun???????

do we have an all out shoot out every time something goes down?????

so as for everyone being armed... forgeeeeet that haha

Well, I don't think that just anyone should be able to have a concealed weapons permit. Maybe some kind of IQ test you need to pass. So, then, in your example regarding the shooting at BART, people would see that the Police Officers were there and in control (for the most part) so there would be no reason to draw your weapon. Common sense would tell most people this. The problem is that the good & hard working citizens can't protect themselves against mindless criminals. The criminals are going to get guns regardless of what the law states. We will remain unarmed, and these **** bags will continue to control our streets. Cops can't be there all the time, and citizens aren't typically in a position to protect themselves. Instead, we are told to cooperate and do as we are told and hope for the best.

If anti-gun people had any logic.. They wouldn't be anti-gun.
Banning guns is as much a fallacy as banning gravity.
Criminals will break laws..(hence the name)

I think what was really needed here was a "Gun Free Zone"

Yeah, definitely. In problem areas, metal detectors should be installed at every entrance. School and so on. I think that people who are gun enthusiasts would be willing to pay a greater tax on guns and ammunition to fund this. What are the penalties for selling a firearm privately? I don't even know the regs on this. But, maybe that's another place to start.

April sure brings a lot of shootings. Columbine, Virginia Tech, now NY Immigrant Place. It's like happy time to express anger with a gun and go on a massacre. Weird that it always lands this month. A lot of people are speculating that once more jobs fall out, there will be more chaos and people will be doing a lot more. I just look at this as an early sign of what's going to really go down after the dollar collapses.

Maybe you didn't see the youtube. I meant the gun free zone as a joke..
County buildings in New York City are all "Gun Free" as is all of the city(unless you are very politically connected ie. rich/ famous)
Damn near every shooting that has occured in the last how many years?? Has been in a gun free zone.
Columbine--Gun Free
V-tech -Gun free
New York immigration center-gun free
That church shooting in Colorado--- Wait a minute!! A CCW holder shot the bad guy in Colorado; thus preventing a massacre.

Israel Bulldozer attacks-- attacker was shot by a (wait for it) a CCW holder.

I think that people who refuse to carry a gun ie. allow themselves to be victimized should pay a "Sheep Tax"
People need to start suing the cities/states in cases like these. for failing to protect people yet refusing people the right to self defense!

People need a gun themselves to defend against crazy people with guns. Guns don't kill people, people kill people. They can get a weapon legally or illegally, so you might as well get one to defend yourself and others when things get escalated. Soon, and very soon this is going to happen quite frequently. People are loosing jobs, people are becoming very stressed and as a result do irrational actions. We are citizens, we have a right to defend ourselves from random killing sprees...

On another thought, damn RIP to the three officers in Pittsburg who went down Saturday... Well today.

Like mentioned a few posts above:

http://www.azcentral.com/news/articl...ooting-ON.html

PITTSBURGH - A police official says a man opened fire on officers responding to a domestic disturbance call in Pittsburgh, killing three of them.

The police official is at the scene and spoke on condition of anonymity because he was not authorized to speak to the media.

Police spokeswoman Diane Richard says the man who fired at the officers has been arrested. She says at least five officers were wounded, but it's not clear if that includes the slain officers.

One witness reported hearing hundreds of shots.

That makes 5 shootings in the last TWO weeks!!! This is insane.
