That's on the S... the XT is only at 163k - barely broken in!

Being married with a kid I don't take the STi out on family occasion's. I am a welder and not the best idea to bring my nice car to work when grind dust gets everywhere, you would be amazed how far it travels. I get so dirty sometimes from all the oil on the steel you can't get it off with out a shower and a good scrub! I bought a beater for 1500 three years ago and she's still ticking. Best idea I ever had was to buy a beater, keeps the miles off my other nice cars. I get 35mpg, how many you getting? I helping the environment out with this car and saving money on gas! I could go on more if yah like.......
Wow dude - touchy much? I don't think my question was any more inappropriate than yours, but clearly I hit a nerve of some sort. I have a beater too, but I'm not driving it because I'm enjoying the crap out of my STi. I have put more miles on it in the past month since buying it than the previous owner did in 3 years. Again - meant to be driven.

Also, to you thinking you're somehow saving the environment by owning 3 cars. Wow.

Never hit a nerve, I was just explaining myself. Some people like to drive alot, I'm not one who even likes to drive with how bad everyone drives out there. I just asked why someone who had a car with 8,000 miles on the car would get a motor that had 94,000. I am helping the environment when I drive a car that gets 30 plus MPG and not a car that is modified and get 15mpg! Enjoy your car, most people do.......

I'm a good driver thank you very much!

I only missed two points on my drivers test like 10 years ago...
(and that was for apparently driving too fast in a parking lot)
