NP... it might even be better if you put the car on ramps, stopped the engine, plugged the exhaust and blasted it with a hose real quick.

good luck!

eric

dont worry I plan on posting the results seeing as how some ppl in the ej20T forum have already asked for the resutls. I'll post the results there and let you guys know when I do that, this way I don't double post and get in trouble Oh btw do mods add cumalitively? So that a mod that adds 5 hp combined with a mod that adds 3 hp will give me a total of 8 hp overall? If I had deep enouugh pockets I would dyno after every mod added to see if this is true.

just remember to spray wd-40 or PB on the rubber hangers, it'll make life much easier.

as for gains, all the bolt on parts(uppipe, dp, exhaust etc) doesn't really add any HP/TQ to your car, it's more in the sense of that it "free" up the HP/TQ you already have.

Gains is always a percentage, not a specific 5 or 7hp. Just like adding an exhaust thats suppose to add 5hp on a stock car, compared to a fully race built car. That exhaust will make much more power on the built motor.

Actually, you know, with two guys it will take at least 10 minutes to get the car up on the ramps At least 8 of those 10 minutes will be chatter and discussion of where the best spot to put the car up will be. Then also tack on another 10 minutes total for the install for arguing and dilly dallying

BTW Im cool, I have a special $50 Snap-on tool specifically for exhaust hangar removal Cuts AT LEAST 5 minutes off of the time spent trying to deal with those things, especially if they are eurathane hangars

Ever try to remove a eurathane hanger located on the hangar behind the muffler by hand while under a car up on small jack stands? Its not as easy as it sounds... (or as painless)
