How do you warm up your car in the morning?

A lot of people simply turn on the car and let it idle for a while, I read in a manual somewhere that with a turbo equipped vehicle it is better to drive very lightly (under 2500 RPM) until it reaches normal operating temp rather than idle.

you have an automatic tranny? I ALWAYS leave my car in gear, so I'd crash my car into the car infront of it with autostart

I use synthetic, and after 1/2 minute, the oils definitely is where it needs to be. I keep it under 4k until it's fully warm, then I let it rip to redline when I feel like it.

Dino oil in my other cars, I tend to wait at least 1minute. I just pick though radio stations, and then take off, and not drive it hard until the heater works.

I rev my car until it hits the limiter for a few minutes.

I start it up and let it idle for a few mins, pretty much just long enough for me to go inside and put my shoes on and then leave.

Fire it up, stay off the boost until the temp gauge is in the normal range. Of course, I'm lightly modded so no worries for me
