how do you guys go about getting a smog test
for those people with aftermarket up pipes/downpipes and exhausts. How do you go about getting a smog test. reinstall the stock exhaust and get the test then put the after market one back on? also how do the dealers around here react to WRX with replaced up and down pipe?
will they even work on my car if I have say a Cobb turbo back and helix up pipe?

go back to stock w/ everything post turbo.
make sure car is nice and hot prior to test
it's been proven that you can pass with catless UP
also helps to go to a really cheap place since they will likely be in more of a hurry to move on to the next car and don;t use as well trained techs. win-win.
