How do I black out my headlights?

I know I've seen 1000 threads on the subject, but I can't seem to locate one now.

Step one, remove headlights without breaking them.
Step two, put in a hot oven of 399 degrees for one hour
Step three, remove wet plastic syrup that used to be headlights
Step four, paint the silver with something....what???...I need to know what I need to paint the silver bits with.
Step five, reform the headlights and bake again until done.
Step six, hope you don't drop them or a screw while reinstalling
Step seven, hope they don't leak in the next rainstorm.

TIA~!

What year car? On my 03 WRX it has high temp black spray paint that you can get at home depot in the grill section.

Sorry, the morettes haven't been on the car in months, broke two lenses and they are hard to replace...put the stockers back on, but thinking about doing the Moike mod and leave the high beam lenses out for cooling, my underhood temps have soared since putting in headers.

A couple swings with a ball peen hammer would black them on a more permanent basis. And it's a lot less complicated than these other methods...

Just my 29,000 Turklish Lira.
