Need IT Help ASAP.

..and a subie brotha needs help.

We have a failed fiber connection to our SAN. For the life of us, we CANNOT FIND an LC-LC fiber patch cable (3M or less preferred).

Does ANYONE KNOW ANYWHERE IN THE CITY (gotta be in the city) where we could get a LC-LC fiber patch cable (multimode, 62.5/125 micron)?

mcdrama, treynor, dre? Anyone?

Not sure if greybar is in the city but I think they have them. I have some but I'm in Fremont.

If greybar is out, then most others will be too. Last time I needed one at a colo, I had to order it and wait...

Aria communications in Livermore will make one if they don't have one....how long is the cable, maybe I have one.

Aria Technologies (925) 447-7500

I just re-read your post, if it's multimode then all you need is a hotmelt kit and make your own pretty easily, if you can crop a fiber cable, if not then Aria. 3m hotmelt kits are widely available for about $5 an end.

Unfortunately, we don't own the stuff to terminate fiber, nor the LC connectors themselves.

Graybar mentioned they might have some today, so I will check with them again today, and if they don't I will expand my search to the East Bay.

Also Aniexter is in the Ebay - they usually stock fiber jumpers and can have them delivered either courier or overnight, whichever you need.
