hotter than a pile of poop on a skillet!!

ok we all know its getting hot. how about some ways to find relief. i work in a warehouse with no air circulation. (i think subydude knows what im talking about) we have this 18" fan in yesterday and want to know which way to face it. THe other warehouse guys and me are fighting over this. if the fan was placed at the opening of the warehouse, should it face into the warehouse or should it face outside? facing it inside will bring in the air from the outside in, thus air circulation, but its bringing in hot air. on the other hand, facing it outside will take the hot air inside the warehouse out, thus cooling the warehouse, but very little air circulation.

If possible draw cool air from the shady side of the building in.

Do not face the fan in from the sunny side of the building. If there is no other opening I would put the fan at the back facing out.

At wheel works they put misters in front of the fans and it works wonders, maybe try that?

Why not mount the fan inside, on the roof if u can, and have it blowing in your general direction? Then you can stand in front of the air flow, and cool off.

If you can't do that, put it on the coolest side of the building blowing IN.

tharrRRR she blows!! we closed the gate of the warehouse, but left a fan sized opening at the bottom. we tried both ways, and im sticking with facing in. even though the sun is facing the opening. it feels cooler.

If the fan is at the top of the building, where hot air accumulates, have it blowing out. If it's on the floor, have it blowing in.
