Hose came out of turbo! Someone help me taking intercooler out?

Hey, anyone here in Fremont can pls give me a helping hand? You can ask for anything in return that is within reasonable.

So, turbo to intercooler hose (under the top intercooler) , came off. My car cant go over 3k RPM now.

*(the left arrow hose came off)

I am having a hard time trying to get the hose back into the turbo, without having remove the intercooler first.

Can someone here in Fremont come help me out real quick just to insert the hose back into the turbo?

thanks!

edit: removed intercooler. installed hose. won't go pass 4k RPM. Might be in limp mode. Will reset ECU tmr and report back!

Just loosen the throttle body hose (next to your right arrow in the picture) as well as take out the 2 mounting bolts (on the left and right side of the TMIC). Wiggle the TMIC around to help you reach the y-pipe hose and you should be able to get it back on.

Taking the intercooler off is easy, reinstalling it is the difficult part (especially with the stock Y-pipe) All I can say is take your time and be patient.

Taking it off with the stock Y pipe took me 45mins the first time. I was scared something was going to break. Stock Y pipes suck.

Atleast your car is boosting now :P

woke up super early to reset ECU

removed negative terminal on battery , step on brake for 10 seconds. (clock was reset, not sure if the ECU was reset?)

Still same symptom, won't go pass 4-5k RPM. man!

Does it build any boost until 4k rpms? Or just won't let you get there at all?

it does build boost. Boosting seems to be fine, but once the RPM hits like 4-5k RPM, it seems to have a fuel cut. No matter how hard I step on it, it doesn't go over the 4k RPM.

Also something happened earlier was, the CEL flashed for a few seconds when I am trying to hit above 4k RPM. Maybe misfiring? But the CEL went away as soon as I slowed down.

Right now, I can drive the car fine , just not above that said RPM.

Flashing CEL means misfire. Check the connections on the plugs and coilpacks again? Did you make sure to check the gap on the sparkplugs?

Pull the code from the CEL first and go from there. No point in guessing.

It would also probably be a good idea to replace the factory plastic intercooler Y-pipe with some Samco hoses and T-bolt clamps.
