Horseriding in Santa Cruz or Monterey area????
Hello,
I want to take my girlfriend horseriding somewhere along the coast, or maybe even in the santa cruz mountains or something. I have done a little bit of research online but have not found much. Neither me nor my girlfriend have any real riding experience, so it would need to be a place with instructors that go out with you and stuff. Price is important because I am not a baller, but I am sure that it is going to be pretty expesive.
Thanks,
James

There used to be a place where you could get a guided horseback tour.
As I recall, they have tours of different difficulty levels.
It is basically on skyline blvd just south of hwy 92
Not sure if the place is there anymore.. but as a youngster, I went there a few times with family.

There's Sea Horse Ranch at Half Moon Bay that can give you guided beginner-level horseback riding tours on the beach: http://www.horserentals.com/seahorse.html
