Sorry to rant but ive been stereotyped so many times in my lifetime that i find it disturbing for someone to stereotyped by appearance and perosnal interest.

Dude, that was an awesome punch. Running start + a hit right to the chin. Mike Tyson woulda went down after that.

Then Artest got the wrong guy within the group of fans if you notice that person that Artest went for was still holding a drink! Only reason why Artest went after him was because someone else threw the beverage at him and that guy he went after started to laugh at him. Another stupidity of Artest. But that was a good punch on that stout Detroit fan by O'Neal.

winning by so much? they were winning by 5 pts which can easily be overcome in 45 seconds. secondly...if you watch the foul it really wasnt that hard of a foul. wallace landed on his feet right? its not like artest knocked the guy over onto the floor.

now on the whole brawl. artest was merely laying on the scorers' table when someone threw a cup of beer on him. wheres the respect? wallace shoved artest, and artest did not even fight back. he was about to let it go but until came back with another shove. so really it was that dumbass fan that threw the cup of beer that started it all. the rest of the pacers team was just backin each other up. when you watch the replays you can clearly see the fans punching the players from behind! getting cheap shots in...it sucks that players will get hit the worst when really the fans just had no respect for the players. why did that fan feel it was necessary to throw somehting in the first place...

actually I think he tripped while he was in the process of punching. Otherwise the fan wouldn't have gotten up 5 seconds later.

are you kidding me? thats after artest and o'neal jumped into the crowd and just started wailing on people... people said the players were asking if they the ones that threw the cup as they were beating the RANDOM fans... IF all you see is people pounching from the players from behind, come on dude, if they hadn't punjched the guys from behind the players would have kept wailing on the fans to "find" the person who had thrown the cup...

The fans were 100% wrong for throwing ****, but jumping into the seats and just throwing punches is UNACCEPTABLE from someone who is making millions of dollars to PLAY A GAME, they get **** thrown at them all the time, this time was no different, except the players completely crossed the line in their response....

You apparently missed the 2 other Pacer players that got wacked from behind, one from a fan that I forget, and one by a big fat black guy.

Plus the guy with the hat was punching Artest behind the head several times.

The fans deserved it. There are too many out there who feel they can talk **** and do whatever they want because they are only fans. I'm glad finally someone got beat down. Artest gets a thumbs up in my book.

The fans are mostly to blame for this but I can't help but feel if it was anyone but the pacers that it wouldn't have happend.

But I must say I was happy to see the druck a$$ fans get dropped like the idiots that they are.
