Hollister Co. - the latest ghey fad?
I'm sorry but Abercrombie is one of the ****tiest clothing companies in existance. I had to return a backpack I got from there 3 times, because it ripped. All of their clothes are either wrinkled, torn, or dirty looking. I'm sorry to those of you who actually admitted working there, since they pay such a ****ty salary and barely give you any discount on the crap they sell. Besides, who wants to stare at naked guys when they're looking for clothes in the catalog? I don't. Oh yeah, and I don't get what you guys have against the idea of Nor*Cal. It's a way to represent the area you are from. It's like wearing an I-Club shirt to represent a club you're in. BTW, Nor Cal Surf Shop was one of the first to put the name on clothing and actually that is the name of their business. Other clothing companies just adopted the Nor*Cal logo and put it on shirts.

I dont have anything against NorCal personally, or wearing car shirts... sh** i wear those too, but i just have a problem with people and stupid ghey a$$ stereotypes. I have never been able to escape them my whole life and it just happens to be a pet peeve, that and people who cant park between the lines they are suppose to park in...

I don't understand the current fad of wearing Von Dutch. Do the people that buy that stuff understand that it was originally a biker culture company of the era of Rat Fink and was supposed to be counter-culture and anything but a fashion fad? True biker Von Dutch wearing people must be pissed.

Its all about prefrence IMO. IF you want to follow the masses and wear something that you have no idea means, then by all means go ahead. The whole A&F thing is just a trend and everyone is followinng the trend. Its the same thing when GAP had those commericals and the next day you would see dozens of people wearing the clothing.
When it comes down to it, when you see a teenager wearing a Chi Guevera (SP), you might want to ask them what did he do, most people wearing those shirts dont have a clue what he did. My $0.02.

its crazy how the bigwig execs in these companies basically control what people wear by deciding the trends a year before production. like i was watching this special on TV and the designers were predeciding which colors are gonna be "in" for the next season. and then all the "trendy" people just follow them like sheep. I want that kind of power!

<ugh>
Whats worse is that one was a guy carrying the pink bag for his lady.
Take the dogs to the park, not the mall.

i would just like to stated that I have been around abercrombie since I was a child. my family has been wearing since I can remember... it did start and a camping gear/fishing/hunting store and my family does that stuff, so i resent that fact that people think everyone does it to follow a trend, just my "0.02"

yeah well I gew up around North Face and my family and I did a bunch of backpacking, but I didn't predict that it would become the street wear of choice for goofballs in NYC in the early and mid 90's...
