Since the company is so surf oriented, "Hollister" may be referring to The Ranch or Hollister Ranch down towards Ventura County. The surf is only accessible by boat because the beaches are privately owned and regulated. Just my.02

 

Guess you haven't been to Susanville, CA Biggest employer is a state prision out in the middle of no where. (Actually, their walmart might employ more )

hollister was a surf brand, but then they sold it to abercrombie and fitch, which began as a high scale out door clothing store for the rich.

 

All that Nor * Cal isht is getting old, so kids find some new trendy basura to wear...

BTW the Hollister store in the Stoneridge Mall looks like a convoluted deathtrap...the store is designed like a maze inside!

A&F actually used to be a really nice store... back in the olden days... I have an OLD jacket from there that I will have forever and will never fall apart. They used to make really high quality clothes.

 

Lemmings is the shiznit. I used to have to play that in "computer class". It PWN3D.

 

Hollister is the "little brother" of AF. Reason why so many people wear Hollister and American Eagle is because the style is identical to A&F. Also, it is like 10-15 dollars cheaper. I personally like the style of A&F. Their clothes fit me better than most. Yeah, that might sound metro, but SHUT IT! haha! Some people like the urban ish like Phat Farm, some like the skater stuff like Nor*Cal even though that shiet is played now, others like the preppy stuff like AF. As someone said earlier: "To Each Their Own!"

BTW: You know what got played out in a matter of a couple months? That Von Dutch shiet. I went down south and I swear every Jr High and High Schooler was sportin a Von Dutch hat. It was Ricockulous!
