Here's my drive for tonight.

I get off of work in Fairfield at 4:30; my dealership is just west of the Solano Mall, and traffic on I-80 has been slow since noon. I have to go back to Davis to pick-up my wife and luggage, and then we get to drive I-5 down to Hell.A. Once there, we cut east on I-210 along the San Gabriel mountains to San Berdoo, and then catch I-15 south all the way down to the Riverside County/San Diego County border.

I've been up since 5:30 this morning. This is gonna totally suck.

Thanks for the condolences.

Maybe if you don't hear from me in a week, you'll at least be able to tell the CHP what route I took so that they have an idea of where to look for the wreckage.

Man, what a trip! It took an hour and 45 min to get from Sac to Stockton because of a jack-knifed truck that rolled-over...

...on the other side of the friggin' freeway. Damn rubber-neckers!

Anyhow, the first part of the return trip took two hours to get from the Riverside/San Diego County border to the 210 freeway because of rain and wrecks. After that mess, it was raining on-and-off all through the Central Valley, but relatively smooth sailing.

Thanks for the advice, and good luck wishes.
