so I'm number 6 in line right now at eb games in stoneridge mall waiting for a wii. they said they are getting 6 in at eb and 8 or 9 at babbages. my gf is number 9 at babbages and she is not a happy camper right now....I just want a fuggin wii...

Boo Hoo! I waited 8 hours for one on launch day. I'm never doing that again.

 

I lined up for 1 hour in best buy.. and didn't get one.. not too upset since I didn't expect to get one..

Is it even that good? I been looking at their games.. they are not really that great.

 

oh man, i would line up and all, but why when all my friends have already !? just bum over to their house and play

 

if you don't end up getting one, i might consider selling mine cause i don't play it much anymore. lemme know. i won't rip you off either .

 

Ya sorry man I work at club sport now, but target got like 12 in.

 

It's all subjective. The Wii games are more focused around fun rather than the mad tight PS3 graphics. The wii-mote can make almost any game more fun than it looks. Even dumb stuff like tennis and baseball are fun.

My only regret is that there is no word on Mario Kart Wii in the near future. I'm hoping they at least offer Mario Kart 64 as a download.

grats man i LOVE mine, got me 4 remotes and nunchuck's too + zelda,trauma center,and madden. Gonna pick up metal slug in the next few days as well.

 

I camped out today/this morning. Got to target at 4am somewhere about 5:30ish they said they had gotten like 10 in and my friend and I were 36th in line. We dashed to the local mall to try for EB and Babages, but found those had already been spoken for. Then we took one final last ditch shot at a funcoland in another smaller mall. Found there were 2 people in front of us. Waited it out and we got wii number 3 of 4 that came in. Though I donno if I'd ever be crazy enough to do it again, it does make the gaming all the more enjoyable after going through such pain to get the console.

 

i wont be able to open mine til xmas bc its supposed to be my sisters gift . i bought trauma center though. do you like that game a lot? im thinking about picking up zelda and red steel too

 

oh and where can i find some extra wii-motes and nun chucks. every eb games and gamestop ive checked are sold out of them

 

Red Steel was sort of a disapointment. The only redeeming part is the multiplayer game (think Golden Eye N64). You might be happier with Call of Duty3 or Splinter Cell. Zelda Twilight Princess is the best Zelda yet.
