Since you travel to socal quite a bit, Id suggest a Borla hush or Maddad only. Otherwise you'll be getting reffed in no time at all.

Cops in SJ are lax but some of the surrounding cities not so much and socal I hear is pretty strict too. It might be worth shelling out the extra dough.

Its loud but not the loudest...sounds really good though I liked the way it sounded on my car with stock dp, it had no resonator in midpipe either

i have an hks hi power catback on my '05 sti. it's really not that loud considering how large the canister is. haven't gotten pulled over yet. stock dp though
