HKS Camp...and the like
anyone fill me in on the way the camp works.
I mean you buy the unit..it's like $300. Then you have to buy all the sensors and the junction box?
I understand you can plug another video source into the camp and it will go into the screen.
So I could have...a screen in my car. A camp in my car. A PS2 in my car. PS feeds into the camp. Camp feeds into the screen.
See I have a screen in my dash and I rarely have a video source in there. I like the idea of having something like the camp where I can have sensors/guages without having 5 different guage pods in my car.
Anyone fill me in on this? Any other companies make something like this?

Yeah I really just want basic stuff. Air/fuel. Boost. oil temp. Stuff like that.

things are sick...but so expensive if you get all the sensor attachments. But if you're like me and have a screen and aren't hip on mad guages all over the place...it's sick.

Defi also has a similar product. Combine the Defi Control Unit with the Defi Link Display. http://www.defi-shop.com/product/dp/dp_top.html

BLitz R-ViT on Subaru's shows Boost / water temp / maf volts / air intake temp/ Rpm / Speed / etc. and has peak hold + warning / also has many diff displays like tach/bar
its a neat thing...hooks into the OBD2 slot so no splicing... pm me for more info
hmmmm...
i like the blitz device that hooks to the obd port...
i wonder if there is a device like that but the shape is more like the clock in the center dash.
i wanted an all in one type meter. no matter if i have to cycle through diff screens...

Yeah, but ever try driving with the OBD connector attached?
I tried with my accessport, the connector gets in the way of shifting and braking.
Hope they have a nice design.
