you guys cant imagine how angry i was! it was one thing to hit my car, but to not even own up to it just makes it that much worse.

Does anyone know a good bodyshop and how much you guys think this will set me back? TIA

Good god! I hope whoever hit you gets their car stolen and gets trashed. That isnt a small dent either. Sorry to hear about it.

insurance should cover it, well i guess it depends on the coverage you have. Same thing happened to my car, with a little more dmg. Imaging the swipe on your car cept it was right in between both doors. I went to Auto Excellence in Hayward to get it done, Santiago does the work, he's very reasonable. Took about two weeks because he got new door skins from subaru. He uses factory colors and there are no imperfections on the door. He also repainted part of my hood for free removing a lot of rock chips. After this, i went to him to get my sideskirts and cusco front lip painted. Overall, you can't beat his pricing with the job he does. If you decide to go there, tell him henry send ya, oh and i also have PSM so theres no way he's gonna mess up on your color. I'd say call up your insurance, make sure it's covered, then call up santiago. Let me know how it goes.

im thinking that somone was tryin to cut through the parking spaces instead of going around them and hit me. i usually park kinda far away. there was a dodge caravan parked next to me on that side, but i cant really prove that was the car that hit me.

no it wont raise your insurance, i specifically asked the insurance agent multiple times fearing the same problem. She said that since there were no prior claims like this, it wouldn't. Just so long as you dont go claiming a hit n run every year, the insurance wouldn't raise your rates. oh I have AAA by the way.

PS. I guess i didn't mention it in the above post, but the deductible for me was 500 (still it's based on your plan with your insurance company), but judging from the dmg. It'll be more than that to get it repaired.

hahaha... this just added to it. I wouldnt have been as mad if the person would have left their info or something, but they decided to run away like a b*tch instead.
