the thing is, it was a 2 lane exit and i was in front of her in the left lane with her on my right. during that exit to 101 south the right lane must merge into the left to give way for the 280 northbounders exiting to 101 south. she decided to wait till the last minute to merge and clipped my rear passenger side. she's just a bad driver who doesn't know how to merge. mirrors couldn't have saved her.
If in doubt, FLAT OUT

That really blows. At least you got the plate.
Dude that bought my previous car said a semi pinched him into the guard rail and pretty much crushed his car...and kept going also. I think he said he got the plate or some kind of idenifying info on the truck and that CHP were looking for it also. Truck probably didn't even notice a civic bounce off his truck.

and this is why I LOVE to drive my 4runner, last idiot that changed lanes into me...
1)Ripped open the body of his BRAND new LC, from the rear door to the break light (rock bars)
2)Smashed in his front fender and driver door as he hit the brakes and caught the big steel beam bumper in the side.
I walked away with a broken weld and a scrath in the paint...oh and it being 100% his fault.

Cars who want to tangle aren't going to fend well, and for some stupid reason, everyone thinks they can cut you off when you are driving a big truck.

Amen to that....thinking from a motorcyclists view, for a car its a fender bender, for a motorcyclists, its their life. But as for the OP, its a felony. My sister had her car hit and the lady who hit her took off. Her boyfriend called the cops and when the cops arrived at her house, she was arrested.
