Hit 30k on my STi this morning
On the way to work backed out of my driveway and rolled over to 30k. I can't beleive I already have this many miles in 1.5 yrs. Car runs great and I have had 0 problems (knock on wood). Only things done were had the wipers replaced twice and the brake pads replaced once under warranty. soemthing to be said for suby reliability for the way I drive this thing.... my only complaint is the paint
I have already changed the diff fluid, flushed the brake system, and changed the oil/filter. What other 30k things do I need to do to make sure I am taking car of this thing the way it should be?

The service requirements should be outlined in your owners manual. Also, you can go here to see what LIC does for a 30K service;

I'm barely at 3,600 miles in ~10 months. I need to drive the car more.

I'd expect your brake pads are probably close to the end if you haven't changed them yet, lots of other stuff should be inspected at this point, 30,000 is a significant portion of a vehicles designed service life and comprehensive maintenance is crucial if you expect it to last a lot longer.
That being said you can do it all yourself, if you have the tools and know how to use them.

Replaced the pads 4 k ago and just bled the entire brake system 2 weeks ago. I am a big DIY and plus I believe no one loves your car like you do. So the work you do is more careful than say a shop can be at times. I am jst wondering what all that "other stuff" I need to check out. Did the brakes, diff, fluids (coolant/oil) Cleaned my resuable air filer and oiled it. Rotated the tires too when I did the brake flush.

Haha that's funny. I hadn't replaced mine either, with 55,000 miles on it. I got smart and started using Rain-X. The wipers have been smearing for a few years, but I rarely use them, the Rain-X does the job.

If your only complaint is the paint you should have called Krinkov. Perhaps the best investment so far has been the clear bra. A co worker who bought a 05 legacy when I got my 05 sti has a bumper that looks jacked up from all the rocks.
