highway 9 heads up

Just got off high way 9 saw a line of sheriffs go by, then turn off to wait for people. Just a heads up, it was right off of where denza hits it.

They've been swarming all weekend... It turns out that there is a group of Hells Angels staying at the Brookdale Lodge: I think that's what set them off. Yesterday, I counted 13 between the Mountain Store and Felton; 7 cruisers and 6 cycles.

I've seen a few big guys in leather jackets pulled over on their Harleys... two police cycles per biker...

Be carefull out there.

Too many accidents and motorcycle fatalities on 9 are the reason....heck I low-sided there myself... they should just close that road to "high speed only" traffic on the weekends and charge a hefty toll... I'd be down with that!!!

also, not too long ago I think (but not sure), a guy who works at Saratoga Tapioca Express, was just driving with his girlfriend I believe in his FD. (black I think) supposedly just driving, not spiritedly or anything, and went head on with a glass truck. truck driver broke his legs, someone shattered their spleen, and the rx7 was totalled. i just heard about it last night because my friends and I were talking about driving 9, but one of my friends told the rest of us that story, and warned us about cops.

so be careful.

I drive it every day...

...mostly because I LIVE on it.

I agree, though: If you're out for a spirited drive, 9 is a bad choice, except maybe in the middle of the night on a weekday.
