High temperature grease

What is everyone using for high temp lubricating grease? When I fixed my squeaking clutch I had used lithium grease and it worked for a bit then eventually the stuff dissipated due to extreme engine bay heat. I think the stuff was not designed to work under extreme heat. Thanks.

I've always used wheel bearing grease. You can get them pretty much anywhere and cheap.

I don't know how high temp your application is, but we use it on guns and it seems to work pretty good.
